Pettersen, who's been No. 2 to Annika Sorenstam, Lorena Ochoa and now Tseng, says she's the required steps to imagine the top ranking.

``I have a look at my game and a few things i can do easier to get the most from it each day,'' she said. ``She's an incredible No. 1, she's very taylormade r9 supertri driver aggressive, very fearless and obviously provides extensive confidence currently. But I've beaten her before and so i know you can do it.''

Pettersen is currently looking for consistency, transferring her good form about the tour to major titles.
``I look back at 2011 as being a decent year,'' she said. ``I had three wins, there was clearly plenty of consistent golf however wasn't really in contention for the majors, which has been a lttle bit painful.
``That's a very important factor I have to do, make an effort to prepare better within the weeks prior to majors in order to use less stressed Titleist MB 710 Forged Irons about how exactly the overall game is feeling.''
Pettersen also paid close attention to the Presidents Cup in readiness because of this week's tournament, noting the amount of balls that sped over the glassy greens.
``I may play much more conservatively. You need to take what are the course will give you daily. It can swap around effortlessly and alter drastically from morning to afternoon,'' she said.
